Position Summary:

Premium Furniture Outlet is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer-oriented Delivery Driver and Furniture Assembler to join our team. This dual-role position involves delivering furniture to customers in a timely and professional manner, assembling furniture on-site or in-store, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Duties:

Safely load, transport, and unload furniture to customer homes and businesses.

Ensure items are delivered in excellent condition and in a timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Navigate routes using GPS and communicate delays or issues.

Maintain delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.

Furniture Assembly Duties:

Assemble furniture efficiently and correctly using hand and power tools.

Inspect and verify all parts are present and in good condition.

Follow manufacturer instructions and safety procedures.

Assist in arranging furniture as per customer request.

Perform basic in-store assembly and staging when needed.

Warehouse Duties:

Organize incoming inventory and keep storage areas neat and accessible.

Clean and maintain the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist with unloading trucks and restocking showroom as needed.

Perform regular checks to ensure stock is accurately stored and labeled.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Experience in delivery driving and/or furniture assembly preferred.

Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 100 lbs with assistance).

Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical skills.

Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Work Schedule:

Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as needed.

Typical shifts fall between 10 AM – 7 PM, with Sunday shifts 12 PM – 5 PM.
